CNC Milling Technology

CNC milling (machining) is a subtractive manufacturing process in which computer-controlled cutting tools progressively remove material from a workpiece in order to create a desired shape or object. This process is achieved using machines known as CNC milling machines or CNC mills.

High precision and improved accuracy.

Enhanced tooling capabilities.

Consistency.

Capable of producing complex parts.

High production and scalability.

Cost effective machining.

Great surface finishes with high tolerances.

Wide range of materials supported.

Frequently Asked Questions

CNC milling can be used to make a good number of products that we use in our everyday lives. It is an efficient way to make precise parts as the machine should shape the product faster than a human ever could. Some of the products commonly made with CNC milling are:

Car Parts . Machine Parts . Instruments . Jewely & Engraving . Toys . Medical Equipment . Military Equipment.

What materials can be machined?

Almost any material can be used in a CNC machine. It really depends on the application. Common materials include metals such as aluminum, brass, copper, steel, and titanium, as well as wood, foam, fiberglass, and plastics such as polypropylene, ABS, POM, PC, Nylon, etc.

How big a job can you cater for?

We have 4 different sized CNC Mills and our larges can machine approx 1050mm (41.3″) wide x 510mm (20″) deep and 560mm (22″) high.

What accuracy can be achieved from your mills?

Our CNC mills can achieve precision levels as tight as ±0.0127 mm (±0.0005″). This level of accuracy is essential in creating components for critical applications like aerospace, medical devices, and automotive manufacturing. Finish wide with enough passes and the right tooling a mirror finish can be acheived.
